WATCH YOUR MOUTH & MIND YOUR TONGUE

Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Psa 39:1 [[To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.]] I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:20 A wise sentence shall be rejected when it cometh out of a fool's mouth; for he will not speak it in due season.

Pro 15:2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:13 A wise man by his words maketh him beloved: but the graces of fools shall be poured out

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 21:26 The heart of fools is in their mouth: but the mouth of the wise is in their heart.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:5 There is one that keepeth silence and is found wise: and another by much babbling becometh hateful.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:7 A wise man will hold his tongue till he see opportunity: but a babbler and a fool will regard no time.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:8 He that useth many words shall be abhorred; and he that taketh to himself authority therein shall be hated.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:18 To slip upon a pavement is better than to slip with the tongue: so the fall of the wicked shall come speedily.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:19 An unseasonable tale will always be in the mouth of the unwise.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:24 A lie is a foul blot in a man, yet it is continually in the mouth of the untaught.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:25 A thief is better than a man that is accustomed to lie: but they both shall have destruction to heritage.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:24 A lie is a foul blot in a man, yet it is continually in the mouth of the untaught.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:26 The disposition of a liar is dishonourable, and his shame is ever with him.

Lev 19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

Pro 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 15:13 The Lord hateth all abomination; and they that fear God love it not.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:27 A wise man shall promote himself to honour with his words: and he that hath understanding will please great men.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 20:29 Presents and gifts blind the eyes of the wise, and stop up his mouth that he cannot reprove.

Pro 18:6 A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.

Pro 18:7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

Pro 18:8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Lev 19:16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 21:25 The lips of talkers will be telling such things as pertain not unto them: but the words of such as have understanding are weighed in the balance.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 21:28 A whisperer defileth his own soul and is hated wheresoever he dwelleth.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19:12 As an arrow that sticketh in a man's thigh, so is a word within a fool's belly.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 11 A fool travaileth with a word, as a woman in labour of a child.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 5:14 Be not called a whisperer and lie not in wait with thy tongue: for a foul shame is upon the thief, and an evil condemnation upon the double tongue.

Pro 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

Pro 16:23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

Pro 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Pro 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 21:15 If a skilful man hear a wise word, he will commend it, and add unto it: but as soon as one of no understanding heareth it, it displeaseth him, and he casteth it behind his back.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 21:6 He that hateth to be reproved is in the way of sinners: but he that feareth the Lord will repent from his heart.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 16 There is one that slippeth in his speech, but not from his heart; and who is he that hath not offended with his tongue?

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 6 He that can rule his tongue shall live without strife; and he that hateth babbling shall have less evil.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 13 Admonish a friend, it maybe he hath not done it: and if he have done it, that he do it no more.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 14 Admonish thy friend, it maybe he hath not said it: and if he have, that he speak it not again.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 19: 15 Admonish a friend: for many times it is a slander and believe not every tale.

Pro 12:17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

Pro 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Pro 12:19 The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Pro 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Pro 12:14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

Psa 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

Pro 17:4 A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Psa 119:171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

Psa 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Psa 119:131 I opened my mouth and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

Psa 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Psa 119:101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

Psa 119:46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed.

Psa 119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so, shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

Mal 2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

Pro 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Pro 3:22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

Pro 5:1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

Pro 5:2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Ecc 9:17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Ecc 9:18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.

1Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so, shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Thess 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1Thess 4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

1Thess 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

1Thess 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

1Thess 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 3:23 Be not curious in unnecessary matters: for more things are shewed unto thee than men understand.

Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 3:24 For many are deceived by their own vain opinion; and an evil suspicion hath overthrown their judgment.
